Twenty Years. Forty Successful Communities.
Southern Lifestyle Development creates communities that change the way people live. In two decades, we have built more than forty communities with active town centers, scenic parks, and safe, walkable streets. For our residents in Louisiana and Mississippi, the name Southern Lifestyle Development means home.
A History of Promises Kept
Our first development, the Village of River Ranch, started as a soybean field in Lafayette, Louisiana. It is now among the Top 20 most successful traditional neighborhood developments in the country, complete with mixed commercial and residential spaces, active parks and numerous events, from live music to art shows.
Preserving Traditional Neighborhood Values
Southern Lifestyle Development was one of the first to bring traditional neighborhood values to the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. We continue to build traditional neighborhood developments like River Ranch, and we have taken what we have learned and applied it to conventional neighborhoods as well. We know that your home is your family’s most important investment and we strive to preserve that value over time.
